The need

Navigating compliance and retail evolution

A prominent retail company in the Middle East with over 150 stores and a diverse range of international apparel brands, sought a trusted partner to ensure compliance with the ZATCA regulation for its B2C and B2B operations. E-Invoicing Phase II of ZATCA mandates businesses to align their electronic invoicing systems with ZATCA’s FATOORA platform. For the client, this posed a critical hurdle, necessitating swift and foolproof integration to meet regulatory standards and avoid potential penalties or operational disruptions.

Additionally, the client recognized the need to evolve its operational framework by transitioning to the innovative Store Commerce app. This cutting-edge solution seamlessly combines the functionalities of Modern Point of Sale (MPOS) and Cloud Point of Sale (CPOS) into a unified platform, promising to redefine the retail dynamics and elevate customer experience. The pressing need to transition to Store Commerce emerged following the deprecation of MPOS, positioning Store Commerce as the definitive next-generation platform to empower retail innovation.

The Solution

From strategy to success: Achieving regulatory mastery and operational brilliance

Drawing upon over 15 years of retail transformation experience and specialized expertise in Dynamics 365, Confiz partnered with the client to navigate government regulatory compliance and revitalize their retail operations. The implementation unfolded systematically, beginning with a phased approach. Initially, we upgraded the client’s database to prepare for migrating from MPOS to the Store Commerce app, prioritizing seamless integration without operational disruption or downtime.

In the subsequent phase, Confiz’s technical team facilitated ZATCA integration for the client, ensuring adherence to e-invoicing regulations for enhanced operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. This seamless integration positioned the client for a smooth transition to digital invoicing, synchronizing both B2C and B2B e-invoices through middleware, thereby setting the stage for sustained success amidst industry evolution.

Furthermore, Confiz orchestrated a seamless migration from MPOS to Store Commerce, marking a significant stride in modernizing retail operations. Leveraging our expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce and Store Commerce, we devised a customized migration strategy to mitigate disruptions and foster operational excellence for our client.
