Confiz is proud to launch “ConfizConnects,” an innovative initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry for a dynamic exchange of knowledge, ideas, and resources. Through the ConfizConnects series, we aim to empower university students and prepare them for the corporate world.
The very first series of ConfizConnects kicked off with empowering students from Kinnaird College. It included an enriching day of knowledge sharing and a visit to the Confiz campus, which gave them a feel for the corporate world.
Affan Ijjaz, Head of People and Culture, enlightened the students with key traits that set candidates apart as they enter the corporate world. Affan Ijaz expressed Confiz’s steadfast commitment to empowering students by stating, ‘At Confiz, we firmly believe in the power of collaboration. ConfizConnects is our way of extending an invitation to students to begin their journey of growth and innovation. We are dedicated to preparing the next generation of professionals to not just succeed but excel in the corporate world.’
Hussain Ahmed, Senior Director of Engineering, shared valuable tips with the students, focusing on how they can prepare for and excel in technical interviews. His session provided practical advice and strategies to help students nail their interviews and stand out in the competitive job market.
Two of our software engineers, Hira Nissar and Ghulam Mohiuddin, shared their personal journeys, illustrating how Confiz contributed to their professional development. Their stories inspired the students as they offered real-life examples of how dedication and the right opportunities can lead to success.
Furthermore, ConfizConnects also featured an open networking session with Confiz recruiters, offering students the opportunity to engage directly with our workforce and even seek advice from industry professionals. This session served as a platform for students to ask questions, seek guidance, and build valuable connections. Additionally, a comprehensive company tour was organized featuring designated chaperones from each department, providing guided insights into their functions and operations.
Confiz plans to continue the ConfizConnects series by collaborating with more universities to provide valuable training to equip students with confidence and readiness for success as they enter the job market in Pakistan.
